If you have any comments about the event at all feel free to post them up as well. Hope to see everyone again.
Thanks for getting these up so quick! Good day everyone, I think I like running in the first group.
whoo hoo. second in class first time in the car.

sorry for the hubris.
That appears to have been a long course Surprised

What setup was Peter St Pierre running in that Civic?
GS for SCCA, but I don't know any more specifics than that. It was awesome to see him there.

Keegan you really did good in my car for your first time. Slightly different than the MG, lol
oh yea. big difference. only about 1% of the body roll. tires that won't fit on a bycycle. extremely easy to rotate. and...can't flat foot it around a sweeper without spinning.

I'm curious because the Civic Si is #1 or #2 on my Slowtege replacement list, and if he was running R-comps, which ones.
I don't know, but he joined our forum before the autocross. I believe revhappy is his name. Shoot him an Email.
he was on V710's.
the factory LSD looked like it helped a lot.

The one I test drove was awesome, but it's still nice to see how they stack up in stock(ish) trim in a real-world autocross.
yep.
he was driving the car very well also.
i could easily see a less skilled driver going 1.5-2.5 seconds slower on the course we had on Saturday.

he did extremely well to be less than 1 second behind me.

And I'm guessing you were on similar rubber in the (mostly unchanged from the last time I saw it?) R/T?
I'd come back for another event even if you didn't stroke my ego Smile

Seriously, thanks for the kind words. The Civic is bone stock except for the V710s on Ray's Wheels (225-17). Not even an alignment (with crash bolts it'll barely get 1/2 degree of negative camber). The Si is competent locally, but will not compete in SCCA at the regional or national level with the Cooper S. It's a great daily driver that got over 30mpg on the way to Anderson - and "slightly less" while at the fairgrounds Shock

I'll be keeping an eye out for updates to your schedule. You're welcome to ride along at the next event.

Peter
Sorry I missed it. I was feeling a bit under the weather Sad

yeah, in the red r/t coupe.
weighs around 2400 lbs without driver, makes 150-155 whp, 130 ft-lbs.
sufficient to run 14.6-14.7 at worse in the 1/4 mile.

i was on second-hand hoosier a6's, 205/50/15.
my car has similar acceleration to a 2007 civic si, but i weigh around 500 lbs less.

i currently have the front camber set a little soft, around -2.3
when i redo my rear suspension this summer, i will realign it at -2.7 to -2.9
my current plan is to add an LSD to the car.

my car is currently an underprepared FSP car.
