I am sure this would be a lot cheaper than having a autocross lot at your house. I wonder assuming you had the land how much it would be to have a 1 mile track. Not super fast but enough to have fun.

yea, we live on ~40 acres. a little less than a 1/2 mile by 1/4 mile.

i tried to convince my dad to make a huge dirt track during the crop off season but he didn't go for it

I saw a dirt track off 187 the other day, about a half mile before you get to 85 past the Research Park. When I drive out there one day (instead of taking the shuttle) I'll have to check it out.

Sweet track/drive way! reminds me of that Kawasaki commerical.
