My buddy had the same problem on his lt1 steering, it just had a lot of play in the steering wheel, There was a little rubber....thing... in his u joint of his steering shaft near the headers. He just replaced it with an aftermarket one an was good to go, so maybe it's something as simple as that. just my .02

^^^ Per his question, I WILL NOT BE LIVING AT CROSS CREEK AFTER AUGUST. Can't be 100% sure, but I'll do whatever I can to find somewhere else. Garages are a niceity, but Cross Creek/Summit is not a very good apt complex from my 3 year history. I'm sure Chris could elaborate since he's been here for 4-5 years.
However, if you do get our old garage I could go halfsies with you since I still will need a garage to store my stuff.

Rent increases! I started paying 325 month when i moved here in 04, no overages. Now I pay 418 a month and still get overages. They dont maintain shit. The most work theyve done in the last 5 years was replacing the garbage disposal. Still the same shitty apartment.
Location.......so many stoplights now that it can take 15 min to get to campus. The damn UV residents cant drive ( or is it the old people leaving the post office) so they added that extra light which is always turning RED to left one fucktard make a left. Always fun when you pull out and get up to speed just to see you have to stop.
No shuttle service like the UV. Cross Creek claims to be one of the largest complex's yet doesnt offer nearly a lick of extra services....even at the high cost. They try to justify the rent increases because of all the new places charging more like 500......they dont understand the difference between 15 yr old apts and 2 yr old apts. And they wonder why its only 65% full here.
'Summit Road" where everyone and their grandma likes to speed down it in their fucking MIATA or BMW or MUSTANG and make as much noise as possible even at odd hours of the night. Not to metion people love to do burn outs in the back lot or the recycling area.....just come and look how many burn marks there are. Shits not cool after 11:00pm thats for sure.
Oh yeah, all the places that got robbed last year. The office wont tell you about it, theyll refer you to the central police. 2 apartments in my building were burglarized, one in building 108 was ROBBED at gunpoint.

I would suggest looking into the apts that Keegan and Stefan are in. Might be some open spots there. Almost brand new and they have a HUGE garage. Also there's The Retreat. Kinda expensive I think though.
