In the part of VA I call home we rarely get snow on Christmas and if we do its usually 1-2 inches. Boy was I surprised to wake up to 2ft of the white stuff. I usually take my car out on the road to photograph snow scenes once the stuff melts enough. As you can see that would be at least about a week or so!
Growing up in western New York, I've gone to school in more snow than that.
