many of you who keep up with my side job know that i recently sold my canon 5D and bought a 7D. i've had the camera for a little over a week now and got a chance to take some spur of the moment pics with Mark and David monday before work. ran into some issues converting the RAW files but got that handled now. these were simply test shots so go easy on me...

only 8 shots total edited so no need to link the album. my impressions so far are that this camera is incredible! i did notice that at 100% zoom in photoshop that these shots showed a hair more grain than my 5D at similar ISO (shooting RAW means no noise reduction). the focus was noticeably faster and more accurate. the new rear screen (compared to my 5D) is AMAZING, it was like going from a standard tv to an HDTV, maybe more. loving the camera so far, the big test will be this weekend. shooting 2 GTRs and 2 370z's in Charlotte then heading down for the big meet in Columbia, stay tuned!!
What lenses are you using?
love the color of the 350. David just needs to finish the track prepped look:

If it just me or does the 250 need a few more bolts for the intake top.

It was probably worked on by Forged Performance, they do amazingly shabby work.

What demon possessed david to do that to his car?

I was just about to ask the same thing O_o
i believe it had to do with needing a new one and this being a reasonable cost fix. imo, doesn't look bad, just is ahead of the rest of the car (no pun intended)
Yep, the old one is KIA and that replacement was only supposed to be $100.
from the left, it's kinda cool. But look at the driver side fender and the front at the same time and the only thing that comes to mind is "WTF?" Looks good though. Even if it's been getting him a little extra attention from law enforcement on his way to the great white north haha.
So he had a wreck and had to get a new bumper? I'm not quite following how getting a replacement requires also getting a "gtr style " lip?
Because it was already painted and only $100. Would you like to find a cheaper one for him?
