Oooooohhhhh... you got caught. That's the second time in a week. The first time was the picture that leaked out of the new tat!

ahh yeah - I need to get the clip up from that, had the camera going since it was a race... but here's the background
15-20ish heat cycle tires (basically dying-to-dead compared to new) so the top few had checked out by that time and I was well ahead of the rest of the class, so I was playing with the Traqmate's predictive laptime stuff trying to at least make me drive better (since I didn't have the $$$ for new tires at the moment that the car needed). That section was one I thought I was giving time up in, seemed like I'd lose a tenth or two every time through so on the lap pictured I pushed the brake point back just a tad and also tried just a touch more entry speed... got a bit of front and rear lockup that I had to pedal out of.. ended up having to turn while I still had too much pedal going on instead of going straight off or whatnot plus I was carrying a bit too much speed. Almost held onto it, but you see the aftermath...
Moral of the story - when trying to go faster on your way into a corner pick one of the following: Brake later/harder OR carry more speed in. Not both.

Don't feel bad man... you are learning first hand what most of us are dreaming about.
Keep up the progress... we proud of you.
But lose the tat.... that's AWWWWFUL!

Don't worry though ken, I put my spin in the chumpcar up on youtube.

spins happen, esp with tail happy cars. It was a "duh" moment for me though

Starts of all 4 were pretty exciting, but if you're only going to watch one watch R2 for ~10ish min, lots of battling back and forth

You almost did hold it ken. Looks like it was a fun spin though.

yeah it never was fully out of control, notice the steering input to catch it going backwards and the little flick to get it back forward again
Now if I tried to do that on purpose I probably couldn't do it, but...
