i would like my car to stop being referred to as "cute", i mean i dont want it to be ugly or anything, but "cute" and i dont really get along unless the person saying it is a magnificent specimen of the other gender...

so without further ado, a poll

here is a photoshop of my car (on top) vs my car (current form)
photoshopped from pictures of other cars, mods are
M7 Aero grill,
M7 Ram Hood scoop (functional)
M7 Front spliter (adjustable, functional)
Joey Modd the stock headlights (edit of mine in photoshop)

i realize the scoop is mostly hidden, sorry, here is a better photo of one on another car

also, M7 likes there parts a lot, so here is a much cheaper alternative (like $30 vs $250)
buy some gutterguard, modify it and paint it and put it in where the slats are

and if you like some of the parts and not others, please i want your thoughts.
THANKS!
the same people who say it's cute will still say it's cute bc they dunno wtf any of that stuff does. also, can't hardly tell shit from that picture. too dark.
Agreed on both accounts. You bought the wrong car if you're afraid of the word cute.
i didn't buy it, it was the car given to me by my parents, you make do with what ya got rt? (and no, I'm not allowed to sell it, nor do i really want to)
ok, well its basically this set up,
cept im not painting my headlight rings,
no dfic exit scoop,
and my splitter wont have that dip in the middle as i dont have the aero bumper, + my lights.

(when i said not cute, i don't mind it being a cute car, but i want it to be an aggressive looking cute car, as aggressive as that can be)
cant do the joey mods with my headlights, tried it tonight, and the silicone wouldn't melt, just too old and wont come apart.

As I was reading the first post, I was thinking "not much you can do to change what it is". Seems like you're past that. I like the scoop and the grill, but not the splitter.
i like the aggressive wheel&tire fitment in that last pic, it looks very wide and meaty and ready to tear up some road.
well good, cause my tires stick out almost just as far Tongue, now i just need to lower it so it sits right. currently i have some major unhealthy wheel gap (doh!)
but i did always like that setup on his car, hes changed wheels now though to fit some different brakes.

(thats car belongs to the owner/ceo of M7tuning)
Functional parts only is how I like it.
I got over the cute thing a while ago with my MINI. Just realize it's a goofy looking box and stop worrying about what others think.

P.S.
I'm not a fan of all the showy things (I'm more of the mindset of Zach). I wouldn't do much because once you start adding things to make it look racier (less cute) it's dangerously easy to get rice-ish.

Edit: Most people will see scoop and not realize it's for your IC, they'll think it gives the car a unibrow look. Also, I've seen one of the M7 grills in person on a Cooper at the grocery store near my apartment; I'm not a fan - it just looks off to not have the boarder.

Edit 2: I fail at reading - I intended to click the I like current setup option in the poll but clicked the wrong one. Subtract one vote from new and add it to old votes.
well the hood scoop is a definite as my intake temps are too high post SC. im looking at maybe doing a small meth kit too for auto cross days just to cool things down between runs.
