After test driving nearly 30 cars (everything from a Pontiac G6 to a C5 Corvette Z06), the S2000 was head and shoulders more impressive than them all. Yes, it has an NA 4 cylinder and is small and has no bells and whistles, but these are all the things that make it a great car. It revs to nearly infinity, light, and gives you the feel of a purpose built sportscar. As Jeremy Clarkson would put it, "it is a steering wheel and an engine, you don't need anything more than that". I've discovered a large reason it is so much better than most sportscars. It is fun and usable to drive everyday. Too many cars today are so fast and powerful that you can't enjoy it to its full capabilty on the street. Take the C5 Z06, it will do nearly 60 in 1st gear, the S2000 has shifted twice. It just makes for a more enjoyable, engaging experience. There's also something to be said for being able to put the top down and not suffer converible blues, especially on a mountain road sprint. Also, the S2000 is one of the few open cars that are legal at track days without a cage. Now, think about the last time you saw a Miata, Solstice, Nissan Z, BMW whatever, Corvette, even a Boxster; I bet you've seen 4 or 5 of each of those before you've seen another S2000 (Maybe around Clemson that wouldn't be true, but Clemson isn't really the real world). Since I've owned this car, I haven't seen another one exactly like it yet. You don't have to throw thousands of dollars at it to make it unique cuz it already is. Speaking of thousands of dollars, S2000s are very cheap to buy, own, maintain, and drive...it's a Honda! That can't be said for Corvettes, Boxsters, Z4s, Audi TTs, Lexus SCs, Merc SLKs (they are expensive, which is why you don't see many of these as compared to S2000s around college towns). The tires, brakes, oil changes, and replacement parts are far less and reliability is among the best. Also, if you stay out of VTEC (good luck!), fuel will be less than most.

I hate to see her go but my interests have changed to vintage cars. Also see attachment for more info and specs. If you're interested or want more info PM me or call 864-245-2378. Thanks for reading!

I'm fighting the urge to contact you... I love the car man.
IF I bring home another car, my wife has promised to cut me smooth as a Ken doll. Oh well...I wasn't planning to have anymore kids anyway.
Shoot me an email on car location and when I could see it. Thanxs.
