i drove down to columbia in bryan's Z on friday. i don't think you can truly appreciate a/c in your car until you drive a track car with no interior at all and no windows 2.5 hours with 4 pts of a 5 pt harness on in a sparco seat (though it was plenty comfortable, it just doesn't breath lol). despite 3 heat strokes and practically drowning in my own sweat, i loved every minute of it. got some funny looks and some great expressions for kids riding in the back of mommy's SUV gawking and pointing behind the glass. anyway, hit the town with david (the event organizer), mark and jeff friday night and ended up with some GREAT times at waffle house at about 3:30 in the morning lol. the next day we washed the Z's and david (who is in the army), mark and i headed over to fort jackson to take a few quick snaps before heading over to wild wing cafe for the meet. all total we ended up with over 60 cars that came over the course of the evening (some came early and left towards the middle, others came late and stayed the rest of the night). tons of people, tons of car talk, good times all around. endured the drive home today (though it was 5* cooler... 103* haha) and basked in my truck's a/c once i got bryan's car back home safe. and now for the pics...

wish i could have brought some bright red sexiness to columbia. damn family vacations.

family first broski. have fun at the beach while the rest of us in the "real world" have to work

Flawless?? there's a great big hole in the hood!

remember how cool it was for a muscle car to have the cowl sticking through the hood so you could see it torque to the side when you hit the gas? imagine that but it's a supercharger instead and all you hear is a nice metallic whir from the s/c as it spools up... it was fantastic.
