Full of win but personally I think its a total knock off of the Toyota Le Mans effort, hey at least its a replica of something GOOD!

As an engineer the beauty lies in the fact that everything is there for a purpose. Nothing for looks - all for performance. And that makes it beautiful thumbsup
beautiful to a point...

true beauty... is making the form following the function timelessly beautiful

Couldn't agree any more.

It is aesthetically ugly but I love how everything is so simple and minimal.

Like the intercooler routing/placement, so sweet.

the intercooler routing and all that seems introductory turbo placement 101 to me... but I think I am indeed a bit sick and twisted turbo person...

I would have started off with that placement! they did a great job

Well if you think about Pikes Peak I would say the it would be foolish to place an intercooler anywhere but the top of the car...

I am sure tons of FMIC's are punctured due to the rocks on the course and high speed! And if you make it a side mount IC then that would be foolish, it would get so much flack from the front tires it would be torn apart...

If I'm not mistaken (and there's a good possibility) I heard that Pikes Peak is now fully paved all the way up. Something about making the climb safer. I think it sucks if they did. Then it's not as big of an accomplishment to get up that thing.

only part is still paved, they just extended that portion, which is towards the bottom. hence the street tires to cope with mixed surfaces

Yeah but look how short the intake piping is !!! Smile

Considering the amount of filter they were working with i thought it was a pretty sweet solution.

Scorke
