thanks for looking! thumbsup
LOL at the too deep one...did he make it out under his own powa?
real wheeling cannot be accomplished with ifs. cool pics tho, and glad to see someone is using them like they're intended.
i disagree stefan, remind me and we shall discuss at the next autox

yea, he had a little bit of water in the air box afterwords but that was easily remedied
i will concede that isn't true in all cases. ifs is great for trail riding, moderate off roading, and obviously on road driving. ifs is still great for pre-running(2 or 4wd). have you seen some of the rock-racing buggies are now playing with ifs?

solid axle ftw! Smile

you can still do that with IFS:

^^Nasty!!

But even that X doesn't compare to the guy that I met in Raleigh to return the strobes you used for a while. First time I have ever seen a widebody Nissan truck!
what? this little thing?

mid-travel setup FTW

yeah, but i see at least one wheel that should be touching the ground. multi-link solid axle would do that....

that's more like it:

^^ yea i know the guy who built that awesome rig but unfortunately he had to sell it. some kid convinced his parents to buy it for him and he took it to URE the first weekend it was open only to lay it over on it's side. it is now totaled as far as we know

and i'm not saying SAS isn't the way to go when doing MOAB, but in most cases (lets say with the exception of climbing kodak rock and daniel as a whole) IFS is fine for URE. solid better? yea but marginally there
for me, as long as it gets the job done, doesnt matter to me.both setups definately have there pros and cons.
personally im not into stuff that really would require a solid axel as my dream off road vehicle of choice is a bowler nemesis exr (ifs)
^^ yea solid can't do that. i've seen that thing before, pretty crazy
