Anyone else want to join in on a trip down to commerce for some drag racing on Friday?
YES YES YES! I just got my tune back so I am definitely down! Anyone else??
I am SOOOO DOWN FOR THIS!!! I am DEFINITELY going to be there. Anyone else?? We can get a massive badass caravan, I'll bring up the slow end of the pack... here's to hoping for low 15's. :-D
Lol, auto-xers tearing up the drag strip. LETS DO DIS
I might go, but I'm not racing my dad's 944. No torque and expensive repairs equals no racing for me.

The 300 isn't back on the road yet?
Have fun, that place is glass but for those that do not live thier life 1/4 mile at a time it can be fun. last year we went in the summer time and 10 cars might have been running, snore fest....
Apparently they closed the track for a couple weeks to work on the condition of the track surface, I'm hoping it'll be a little better than before. I was able to make decent launches, but it should be very easy for me to beat my old times considering the things that I've gotten fixed on the car since.

I'm going to be leaving from my shop at 6pm. It is near Exit 1 on I85 so if you guys want to met up and leave Clemson a little after 5:30 I'll join the caravan there.
I'm down with meeting you at your shop, Mike. I was also wondering if we could bring your badass torque wrench/a jack that doesn't leak like mine does to make swapping my wheels go much quicker.

Also, we are heading to the dragstrip in Commerce, GA. :-D

Not even close. Constantly finding more wrong with it.
baha. well if i go the rear seats are coming out and the spare "disposable" tires and wheels are coming Tongue

but alas for my cars own good i dont think ill be coming (she's running uber rich.. anyone here know how to weld SS and normal steel together? and where to buy a 2.5" exhaust flange? (doughnut gasket is leaking and oddly created a vacuum makeing the post cat o2 sensor read high levels of O2, causing my car to throw lean codes while spitting out massive amounts of carbon because its running rich...
Pshhh running rich never killed anyone. :-P Far better than running lean, and my car has had the SES light on for ages due to running rich. Bring it on out!!
