Definitely trying for next weekend. The dark looming clouds completely opened up JUST AS we were getting off the Commerce exit. Seriously a buzzkill.

Next Friday, definitely trying again.
Lol thats how it always seems to happen. Well at least y'all tried! Wish I could make it next weekend but I'll be out of town, hope you can get a pass without it raining!
I'll be bringing the freshly tuned 300 with me. We'll see what it'll do. Automatic, NA 3.0L, 3,500 lbs. I'm not expecting much. Big Grin
hopefully ill have my car fixed at some point in the future when yall decide to go again. At the moment i REALLY need to get whats causing my car to run lean fixed... then im looking into getting a bit of hardware from a tuner out west that will let me use my laptop to upload one of 2 custom tunes when i want them.. so I'm thinking one gas and one e85 Tongue
but anyways.. i tried fixing my exhaust.. and it failed so im still running lean and the car is a lot louder than it should be at wot. dyno'd it last night to see where i stand.. and it was one of the ugliest dyno graphs I've ever seen as well as i only put out `160/140 at the wheels... which would mean ive only gained 12hp with my mods over stock. with a tune i should be at 210/180... e85 230/200 (thats typical for my car at least... depends on how strong my motor is...)

Can your car and fuel system support e85? You do realize you need nearly 35% bigger injectors and fuel flow with e85 to make the same power as gas, just more safely. I am not knocking e85, I think its a great idea for big safe power, just making sure you check the facts.

As for the leaning out, are you sure your factory 02 sensors are in decent working order? I am guessing you have a factory wideband as your primary so if that thing goes out then the car will run like sh!t
yes it can Tongue and id be going to bosch 550cc injectors up from my lil 320's that im running now. and I'm not sure about the 02 sensor. it dawned on me after i left the dyno yesterday that i should have paid the extra $10 for the wideband to see if it is actually the leak or if my sensor is just bad. (but as for running like shit im getting ~22mpg on the highway Sad .. although the ecu thinks im getting 34 ?..???....(or thats what the scanguage says.. and its set up for a 1.6l L4 engine...) )

When is the last time you have changed your factory 02's? I know for just regular FI cars they can go out at around 100k on a completely stock car...as for your Mini I would say more like 60-70k...

Do you throw any kind of CEL? If it has anything to do with AFR's not being right then it most likely is your 02's. However it could also be your MAF, so you might want to try some electrical cleaner to see if that helps as well...
only cel I've thrown is a p0171 which is a lean bank 1 error.

Could be caused by a faulty O2, dirty MAF, vacuum leak, intake gaskets, injector seals, faulty injector, clogged fuel filter...
pretty sure the track is not open for T&T tomorrow.
they are open Tuesday and Friday of next week.
