Any word on what the "driver's club" membership fee? Sounds like my kind of place... I've been riding dirtbikes since I was 5, and I have a mustang for drag racing (slowly) and a miata for hot lapping (also slowly). Any need for a mechanical engineering intern on the project? Heh...

You never know...I'll ask. It is a size-able project and it would be a pretty neat thing to have on the resume.

I had a discussion with them once about the idea of having Clemson Sports Car Club students handle concessions or working events in return for track days. They seemed definitely interested... it really does make sense. Please... do not go and ask them about it now.... let's get the mutha' built first... or at least move some dirt around before we start negotiations.
