Clemson Sports Car Club

Myself and a few others are planning on going to the Formula Drift event that is taking place at the Turn 10 complex on Road Atlanta this saturday. Tickets are going to be $22 and is the same price if you buy ahead of time or the day of. The Round of 32 main competition doesn't start until 4pm so this is a good event for all you people who like to sleep in (like me).

I originally wanted to leave early but now that I looked on the schedule most of the big events won't be happening until the night or late afternoon. So I was thinking of leaving here around 10am? Let me know what everyone thinks...

Well ended up not being able to make this...but hope it was a good time! Went home and got the guilt trip from the family so I had to stay for a bit longer. Hopefully next time Formula D comes around I can make it!

I've been to four drifts at RA and this was the best for me.
The guys have really got it together now and almost anyone can win.
Memorable is the BMW 335 with M5 V10. He had 2nd overall sewed up and spun out. Came in 4th though.
A new Camaro with blown CTS-V was the most impressive thing I saw for power and noise.
Almost everything has a V8 now, including the S13s, Soltice, etc.
Lots of good races. Hate you missed it.
