HNR plans for more than 150,000 Eager Collector Vehicle Buyers and Restorers to attend the Spring Meet of Charlotte AutoFair! The Hornets Nest Region, AACA, has produced Charlotte AutoFair for more than thirty years to thrill auto enthusiasts from all over the world!"

SCCA Central Carolina's Region will have a display booth with 10 cars (including Bandit). You will see some beautiful cars and have the chance to browse flea market for parts you'd seldom see. This is NOT just old cars... Here's a few pics from last year.

you could always go friday or sunday, autofair is a 4 day event!
It was fun as a kid, but it just got boring after 4 years. More 60s and 70s American iron than you ever want to see in your life with bits of awesome sprinkled in here and there. But those bits of awesome tended to be, well, pretty awesome...

I wish I had appreciated this thing more back then, at least I was smart enough to get a picture. Here's some other finds:

Is anyone doing this on Friday? I'd be up for going, but only if we left Clemson Friday just after 11. That's the only way I could work it in :/
I'd like to leave on Saturday around 8am if anyone wants to come with.

Cry me a river.

I have to have Bandit there saturday by 6:30... that means leaving Greenville at 4:30.
They don't make coffee strong enough...

I'd be tempted to get dressed the night before, sleep in the tow vehicle, set an alarm for 4:30, wake up and start driving.

Been a long time since I've been to the Auto Fair, but it was always a worthwhile trip.

Cheers,
Steven

Looks like it's going to be one serious heck of an event... I want Steve's comparison here to that show at Myrtle Beach, because that one was awesome as well.

It goes without saying, PLEASE do what you can to promote the Motorsports Festival like crazy... wear those shirts!! We need to talk to everyone we can, find the heads of different clubs and such and work our magic. Smile

I can't be there, SCR SCCA autocross in Charleston is calling. I've got to be there.

The cars were 3 deep all the way around the 1.5 mile track, with around 100 clubs having their cars on the outside of the track. What we saw at the beach was amazing and one of the biggest I've ever seen, but this is another level.
