Hey guys, sorry about the lack of meeting minutes lately, not a whole lot has been going on. We had a great turn-out at the autox last Saturday, so great job! We are currently in the works for trying to see the costs of doing one or two autoxs in the summertime. If you can help out with that or would be able to participate, please let us know. Summer Autox Help Thread

-We REALLY need people to start registering for Clemson Motorsports Festival. We are really behind on the number of people that we had planned to have pre-registered by now, so try and really push it. It's only $10 for CSCC members, $15 for non-members, and you get a free shirt for entering, plus put into a drawing/raffle for prizes from our sponsors! It's a great time and we have TONS of parking (enough for 250+ cars). We also have free shirts that are advertising this event if you would like one. They are pretty nice, and it would help get the word out. Just let us know if you want one. Smile

-NASA is having an event April 10-11. Contact Keri for more info.

Annnnnd, CONGRATS TO NEXT YEARS OFFICERS:

Congrats to new officers and thanks to present officers.
Good job ...let's maintain the gain and keep improving!
if i get a few more dents in my car, it could probably go in student beater, hahahaha

congrats new officers, i look forward to being on the other side of things for a while and seeing what you have to bring to the table for us. Course, we're all still around to help out if'n you need it.
I meant to mention one other thing....

I can't tell you how cool it is to see the Clemson Club going and growing again. Just a few short years ago, there were posts that the club was dead, we should sell the club cars, we couldn't afford the storage, and there were no events. Long term "irreplaceable" members quit the club and walked away. There was no image, no presence and no reason to be proud to be a member. Since then?

1. Clemson Motorsports Festivals... better every year.
2. Club Car CC1 back on track, being maintained and being run VERY WELL.
3. Regular organized safe quality events. Not the best site but more runs and more fun/$ than most.
4. Campus presence - picking more members and more will come from festival.
5. A new and improved forum ... much better layout and structure and more importantly, intelligent discussion without flame wars from factions in the club pulling different directions.
6. Growing membership - new blood coming in and willing to help and work together.

In retrospect, what has been accomplished in the last few years...is AWESOME. Great job from leadership, officers and members who stepped up to help. You hung in there when a lot of people were saying "stick a fork in it, it's done" and gave up on CSCC. YOU proved them wrong. Special thanks to Keegan, Ryan, David(s), Brian, Robbie, Stephan, Keri, Zach(s), Karlye, Tyler, Chris, Jennifer, Jaime, Denz and everyone who made special effort (sorry I know I left some out but you know who you are.) And to J.D. Henley, Shaun and Ken B. for hanging around to help (even if you are a Thousand miles away). Last but not least, Ross ... thanks for your service and energy. You took a lot of beatings, pushed, kicked, stressed and worked your butt off to create the festival and much change that was needed to keep the club alive. THANKS from all of us. ALL of you guys and gals coming together reversed the direction that would have ended the club and people are PROUD to be members of the CLEMSON SPORTS CAR CLUB again.
there has been great work lately - keep things going forward thumbsup
I understand that CSCC pays a lot of money for insurance. My previous club uses K&K Insurance http://www.kandkinsurance.com/Motorsport...ports.aspx
They charge $5/member per year plus $250 to $300 per event. You ought to check them out.
