Is any one up for a "Scenic Drive" up to Caesars Head this weekend.
Possibly what time did you have in mind?
I'm down, but can we make it Saturday? Sunday is Easter.
Yes. Very. Big Grin
I was thinking of going up sometime Saturday morning.
I'm down. What time?
If you're going to go any time during the weekend, the earlier you get up there, the better. traffic picks up substantially as the day goes on.
I was thinking of meeting up somewhere around 8:30 or 9 unless something thinks that that might be to late and we'll run into a lot of traffic.
ill be racing at VIR
^^lucky. i'll be sitting on my ass because my car dies in the mountains.
Sounds good. What kind of route were you thinking? I've driven 178, east fork, to 276 before and it's pretty fun.

That's what we did before, but backwards. I think we'll go for it again, it's an awesome drive.
I really don't have an idea for a route. I haven't got a chance to drive up there yet i have only had my car down her about a week and a half now. I was hoping someone who knows the area better would have a good route idea.
there's some combination of hwys. 133, 11, 178, and 276 that fits together. google earth it, or maybe someone else knows the exact route. i know it if i'm driving it.

That might be a bad link, but if it works, that's the loop I've driven. Tons of fun. There's a Mobil gas station right at the intersection of hwy 11 and 178 we could meet up at.
