Hello, I'm new to this forum and also new to the area. I'm living in Asheville, but I plan on coming down for some of the AutoX events CSCC puts on. I like racing cars, from stage rally to AutoX its all fun. I have too many cars:
2004 Tacoma 4x4 TRD - workhorse/offroad machine
1986 Porsche 951 - the nice car
1992 Plymouth Laser AWD - rally X destroyer
1990 325i - to be electric
1990 325i - prepping for 24 hours of Lemons
I have not found much in terms of Rally X in this area so I would like to get rid of the laser. I look forward to meeting many of you and battling on the pavement.
welcome man. nice list of cars u got there. itll be good to see you come out at the autocrosses (our next one is the 27th)
Id love to get into rally cross but like you said there just isnt much, expecially in south carolina. theres more in north carolina but i think a bit east of asheville typically
Welcome! We'd be glad to have you come down for any of our events. We've got the final Autocross of the year on the 27th and the Clemson Motorsports Festival on April 11th. Check out the home page for more info.
Come on down to Greenville for an SCCA meeting. Several of the CSCC and NASA members attend regularly. Meetings are typically on the second Thursday of each month, starting around 6:00 pm, at the Quaker Steak & Lube on Chrome Drive.
Cheers,
Steven Cagle

basturd
I am going to try to make it to the AutoX at the end of the month if I can get the car put together. The Lemons E30 came with a snapped timing belt, cracked head, and some bent valves. I'm picking up an engine next week and hope I can get the car running by the weekend.
