i like "slightly" modded z's... how "slightly" is your z modded?
Welcome to the site! Nasty looking Z there, can't wait to see it. If you like to drive, we'd love to see you at an autocross as well as the show.

i'm more than slightly away from passing tech at an autox event, but i'm up for it.
tech for autox is pretty basic: no leaking fluids, battery secure, no loose interior items, proper restraints, operational brakes and throttle return spring, no loose wheels or wheel bearings. everything else is your responsibility. we even have helmets!
i like the car a lot, hope to see you out at an autox or the show!
Welcome! That's a decent bit of power you have, I could use some more "slight" modifications like that... nice car, and bike. :-D I've seen ones like those at the Commerce drag strip before, one of my favorite paint schemes.
welcome to the forums.
on top of autocrosses and the CMF, we have biweekly meetings on campus (probably a bit too far from Greenville) and we'll get a group together from time to time and head up to ceaser's head on "scenic drives."

thanks, it's a work in progress. i've got the helmets down, but need a new tank (anyone got a fuel cell laying around?) if i'm going to be doing any racing further than my driveway.

my problem is that i'm more likely to show up for a scenic drive on my bike than my car (dragon anyone?).
LOVE THE Z!!! I have an 1985 300zxT myself!
mmmmmmmmmm rb25 goodness, great choice for datsun's imo. antiquated (and usually carb'd) heavy straight six for a boost loving sweet six makes for a great swap. i've met several guys with rb's in their S chassis cars, one guy at zcon last year had a nasty rb26dett, the car was just flawless:

That's the problem I've found having an og z ... most of the other guys who have them are a bit older, if not retired, and have emaculate cars. Either fully modified or 1oo% stock resto's, I can't compete.
I'm workin on it.
You ever ride at jennings?
