I need it. Bad. I got a pair of Hella 500FF driving lights mounted to my car the other day, and I'm having some serious issues getting them to work.

I grounded the switch, relay, both lights; connected the hellas and ran that wire back to the relay, ran a wire relay to the switch, ran another wire from the relay to the battery, and ran a wire to my stereo power source instead of my high beams so I could use the hellas whenever the radio was on, instead of having to have my high beams on.

I did all that, like the diagram pictured below said, and no lights.

Someone on another forum suggested instead of grounding the relay to a ground on the body, to run that wire to the negative terminal of the battery. I did that and no lights, BUT my switch now lights up when the lights are off, even when my freaking keys are out of the ignition.

If I had the money, I would pay someone to fix this in a heartbeat. I don't... so I have resorted to the internetLol If anyone can lead me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it.

Here is the diagram that came with the lights that I have pretty much stuck to:

do it as it says and see if they work. honestly, thats the easiest way. another is just connect to the batter and see if they come on at all.
Come over. Ill fix it.
Thanks man, but all these issues, and it turned out to be a burnt out fuseLol Man, I am an idiot...
