The autocross is less than a week away!
As most of you know, everyone at the autocross works (usually the run right after the one in which you drove). However, we will also need additional help with the following:
Setup - Zach, Robbie, Jon K.
Registration - Keri
Tech - David Elkin, Stefan
Timing - Keri, Zach, Stefan
Takedown - everyone (hopefully)
Waivers (at least two people) - David Escobar, Cody Templet
Course Design - Zach
Karlye, I will call about the fire extinguishers. Will you still be able to pick them up?
If you can help, please post up here!
Thanks!!
I will be there at 7 or 7:30 (whichever we usually do) and can help get things set up as normal. After that if Zach wants help with course design I can do that too.
Zach, do you have any ideas for a course?
i'll be there bright and early with crap in tow as usual. i can prob help with timing at some point as well if you need me, and will prob be helping elkin with tech as usual.
I do have a layout in mind. Should be simple and fun.
I will still get the fire extinguishers, just let me know where and when to pick them up

Ok, I have updated the help list after discussing with the roommate. He may be able to get some of his little buddies to help with set-up as well, but the more people we have there setting up, the faster it will go!
If David and Keri are going to be there at the crack of dawn, I guess that means I will as well. Waivers it is!

David already volunteered you for waivers

He also said Jon K. would be willing to help out with set-up. We appreciate all of your help!!
Hey Zach, which direction will the course go? I'm curious cause I have a tire that has some funky wear (i got it for free though) and I don't want that tire on the outside for the usual big sweeper in the back. Thanks.
Just fyi, setup really needs to begin at 7 with the cone trailer and any major materials. This way you have an hour to setup everything which typically takes longer than you'd expect. Also, the biggest thing to focus on I suggest during setup is get plenty of people with Zach (3-4 people) to help with course design and you should be able to setup registration tent, papers, matls, bathroom, tech and paddock with 3 - 4 people. It seems best if the course is done about the time registration opens therefore you have a little time to let the safety steward walk it, make any adjustments and ensure timing chords are long enough for start/finish. That taking roughly 15 minutes means the course is ready to be opened for walking by roughly 8:15 or 8:20.
Just a few thoughts. Hope that helps guys.

It is going to be going clockwise.
