In case you didn't know, I've been asked to help out with PR for the club with the remainder of the semester. I came across a simple thing the other day that seemed to be a very effective conversation starter on campus. As all Clemson students know, Fridays are supposed to be "Solid Orange" and we are supposed to wear orange as a spirit day for our athletic teams. I have more orange shirts than I can count. The other day, I wore the CSCC shirt to all my Friday classes and got asked by several people "What's that? There's a Sports Car Club on campus?" The club shirt really stands out against all the team shirts and people really do notice. Whether you're at work, out with friends, or in class, wearing the club shirt is a simple conversation starter that really can add up. I encourage everyone to get one if they don't have one and wear em if you do!
Great idea Steve! I really do like this idea. We can definitely use it for some free advertisement. The one thing I'd like to do in the future (when I have some money) is to have some nice collared shirts with the CSCC logo on the breast of the shirt and Clemson Sports Car Club, kind of like how the officer shirts are done. This would be great for those that can/have to wear a collared shirt to work or whenever they're going to any type of organization or nice meeting where they can help represent the club.
My CSCC t-shirts are the only orange shirts I own so I wear them every Friday. A professor asked me about it once.
When I was downtown last Wed they asked a car question and I knew it and then was like Yay for CSCC! And that got some people interested (especially since I'm a girl). Talked with someone who just bought a miata and was actually wondering about autoxing and I told him about our upcoming ones and gave him our website. A little goes a long way, just gotta get the name out there.

I'd love to have a collared one! I'd definitely wear it to my co-op (if I get it) or to the track when I'm there.

hahahah It gets to anyone that's around car nuts for long enough. My parents told me the other day that my sister was now distinguishing between the year models of Mustangs from hanging out with me so much.
The only club shirt I have is one from the first motorsports festival
. It looks good but is kinda hard to read, so I haven't had much attention while wearing it.
Where can we buy said CSCC shirts? Do we still have any available? And +1 on collared shirts, I would buy one.
