Since I've been a member of CSCC for a grand total of 2 weeks....anyone care to explain what a motorsports festival is? Should we all register if we can, or should people only register who have interesting/"actual" sports cars?
The purpose of the event is to bring together tons of different cars and enthusiasts from the SE to show off and/or just hang out for the day and check out cars from a regular beater to a show car or fully prepped race car. The car show is the main event with trophies for cars in almost any type of basic category and all they way to "student beater". By registering for the car show portion, your not only eligible for a custom trophy, but you'll receive a free event shirt and be entered to win cool prizes in our raffle. Either way, it'll be a fun day and depending on how things go, we might have some "interesting" ideas for a few trophies or classes to add to promote "character" or colorfulness".
Sign up to support the club and to get the T-shirt.
Signing up right now. I also hope to make it to the next autox...already had commitments for Sunday last time, so I couldn't make it when it got moved. This time hopefully though. Although I'll need a lot of help / advice. Still haven't used the car for much other than daily driving.

Not a problem at all! That's what we are here for is advice and help. I know that it can be intimidating at your first event, but we'll make sure that someone with autocross experience is riding with you to help you get comfortable with the course and your car.
I'll sign up more than likely.
