Ladies, Gentlemen, just wanted to introduce myself to you guys here on the boards.

I am a n00b to the site but not to forums. I am on Honda-Tech.com along with CarolinaHondas.com and on both under the same name as here [Ennis_D].

Transferred to Clemson in Fall '08 from Spartanburg Community/Tech. Currently here majoring in Turfgrass Science and working on the athletic fields doing field maintenance. Basically, I mow the fields along with 5 full time guys and 8 other Turf students.

Some of you may have seen me driving around town. I am the one in the 91 EF Hatch lowered with stickers on the back window. Not driving it now b/c the brakes went out and its back at the house waiting on me to find time to fix it. I also have a 94 DB8 Integra that I have been working on for 2 yrs. at the house. Its a turbo project. Looking for 350-400 after tune. You will see it around town sometime soon. Waiting to have exhaust welded on before I drive it down here to start putting miles on the new clutch. Do not want a ticket for the open down pipe.

Not sure how many of you guys I see around here but I see the Black Si w/ the black/red pin stripe wheels all the time and used to see the Champ White Prelude a guy used to drive around here. Actually stopped and talked to him one day. Believe I may have spoke with the guy in the black Si a time before also.

Here are some photos of my past and present cars:

Sold about 2yrs ago.

Hope to meet some of you guys on here as well as on campus!

The guy with the crappy paint and ruined pinstripe red on black wheels would be me.

Glad you made it on here.
Welcome! I'm a big fan of the Teg's, almost got a 97 instead of this car (should've gone with the Integra, probably wouldn't fall apart as much as this one). Car looks clean, can't wait to hear/see it. Smile

I think the car is clean and nice looking. Whats wrong with it? Nice to see it used as a daily. Not a fan of trailer queens Wink

Glad to be here!

BorgWarner S200 and you'll make 400 on pump gas Smile
Welcome man! When you get your rides sorted, it'd be fun to see what all that did on an autocross course twisted
welcome! cars look good!

something i've always wanted to ask, how do they keep the grass on the hill so green? this year was tough though with all the rain games, but in the past, it always looks nice too.
The "project" has been "completed"! Some of you guys may have seen me around town (Clemson) with it lately...maybe not. Hubert @ TDC tuned the car and he turned out some NUMBERS on her! Top notch guys!

Hopefully with extra money this semester I will get around to a swap in the hatch I have also.

If you see me around, track me down. I would really like to meet some of you guys!

Yes, I know the bumper is off a shade. What can I do? Seems the plastic did lay as dark as the rest of the car from the original owner of the car. :shrugs:
Welcome to the site mate.
What kinda numbers did she put down?
Okay, well I guess when the car gets stolen, I know where I screwed up....

She made 450hp and 291tq @ TDC.

No traction in 1st or 2nd and the 5 of 12 worm clamps i have on the couplers cant handle the 18.5lbs in 3rd gear therefore she cuts out in third due to overboost protection in the S300 Wink
hey man welcome to the site cant wait to check out your car...i'v had your same problems on the past with using worm clamps....now i'm having too much crankcase pressure and blowing my dip stick out of the oil pan....as far as clamps coming off i took my pipes to a guy and got some welds tigged on the ends of the pipe so the clamp would have something to hold onto..you can also spray hairspray on the pipes and it will help a lot! and as you probably already know after taking the worm clamps on and off a couple times they tend to crimp up and leak...and yes overboost protection sucks! almost as much a rev limit being set at 5000rpm! lol
o yea you got a curretn motor pick??? looks like a ram horm manny?
t-bolt clamp time!

PAINT, the whole field is painted, go down there not much real grass, its all paint. I did my time with the maintanence crew when I was in school there.....

PAINT MY ASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The only PAINT on the field are the lines and logos. If you say you worked for the shed when you were here, you didnt work where I work and for whom I work.

The field is a sand-based field with 419 Bermuda. In the fall/winter -> early spring (usually spring game) the field is overseeded with Perennial Rye. Places where divots have been taken, we fill them with green sand/seed mix that we make in house.

The only time paint has been used on the field outside of lines and logos has been when we painted the hill a few years back. We no longer do that. Its Bermuda just like the field and we maintain and sod it just like we would the Valley.

Next time you chime in on something related to the athletic fields and their turfgrass quality, or maintenance, make sure you know what the hell you are talking about.

Us turfgrass students/alumni take it personal when people open their mouth about what we do for a living at this University and have ZERO clue as to what they are saying.

Thanks bud!

BTW: Yes, its t-bolt clamp time. Just need to find the funds....
