This car belongs to Zach from Greenville. We tuned it today. It's an awesome sleeper.

Here is the setup:
D16z6[u]
CP 9:1 pistons
Eagle Rods
ARP Studs
Stock Head
Stock Cam
Skunk2 Intake Manifold
1000cc Precision Injectors
Walbro 255lph
PFab Log manifold
eBay 60-1
Tial 38mm
Motorola 2.5 bar MAP Sensor
Crome Gold
E85

The lower power chart is on wastegate pressure, fluctuating between 8.7 and 9.2 psi. The higher power chart is on the low boost setting on the Profec B, holding at 15.4 psi.

The clutch started slipping very bad before the higher boost levels were tuned. Zach ordered a Comp Stage 5 today, and should be back on the dyno next week to finish the tune. Also, before the re-tune, the MAP sensor will be swapped for a GM 3bar. We're looking for between 375-400 whp out of this setup.

My god, you guys weren't kidding w/ it being a sleeper, esp. with it looking like that on the exterior. +1
You could creep up on this car and never expect a thing. I like it.
DANG!!!! 375-400 Whp from that thing??? I'd love to see that pull up next to some cocky fool in a Corvette and waste it, just to see the look on his face.
I love this kind of underdog/sleeper setup. I have to say, the boost response after shifting is unbelievably and ridiculously quick for a turbo that supports that kind of power, considering it's a single cam on top of everything else makes it that much impressive..
I need to show this to my girlfriend, who doesn't check the forums anymore. This is basically her car but actually with a turbo. She has a crack in her header and the leak in the exhaust sounds like a turbo halfway up the RPM's. We should bring it to your dyno so we could easily hear it.
LOL... Let's do it.
Hers also has the stock d16y7, and an auto. She has had people want to race her because of the turbo sound. I'm sure they learned quickly it wasn't real.

With out some new shoes all he would do is waste his tires. Wink

That's exactly why he is keeping it looking like this. He was saying that he wants to have to stock steel wheels widened, and run some 215's up front. I love cars like this!
why not just get some stock looking wheels? mine are aftermarket, but they look like they could have come on the car. even though they are a 35 offset compared to the 46 stock offset, and are 17x7.5's running 215 wide tires vs the 17x7 205 stock tires.
plus the after markets are much lighter Smile
