Im sure you could find a z28 diff in a junkyard somewhere. Not sure about a cheap way to fix the power issue, though, aside from more weight reduction =P

Swap in the 3.8 from your grand prix, and find a blower from a gtp to put on it?

Been on the look out for a rear, and I was thinking more along the lines of doing a 3.5L top end swap. Should add ~40fwhp and shave some good weight.

I'd just go for an LSD and some awesome tires. But then again those old dry tires I used this past autox were a lot of fun twisted

Power doesn't help you all that much in the autoxes we have. There was a 3.4 and a 3.8 camaro under 70 sec this past one.

Best upgrade you can get is practice Smile

Ditto to that Tyler. I admit the Shelby is a better handling car than the Bullitt was, but I'm a much better driver than I was last year. I'm in a 3400ish pound car on ALL-SEASON tires can got 3rd in my class and 18th overall. I haven't touched the car. Practice and being comfortable with your car is the best you can do!

Here you Go! Sorry for the delay.

Funny this should get spam-resurrected... DENZ WE FOUND A 3.8 BLOWER AT LKQ. Don't remember if Whitaker got ahold of you or not... There's the power you were looking for.

I talked to him, they cut the firewall to fit the throttle body. Thats a no go.
OR longer ds, move motor and trans mounts forwards... about as much trouble as cutting the firewall, all without cutting the firewall, right? Piece of cake!

Epic find though, that was probably the biggest surprise we found.
